Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Because our merchandise and books are fulfilled through different channels, the return process varies depending on what you purchased.

Merchandise Returns (Apparel, Mugs, Accessories, Headwear)

All merchandise — including hoodies, tees, tanks, mugs, tumblers, hats, and phone cases — is printed on demand and fulfilled by our production partner, Printful. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return: Please contact us at crackerjackchronicles@gmail.com before sending anything back. We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with the correct return shipping address and instructions from our fulfilment partner. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If your merchandise arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Book Returns (Paperback & Hardcover)

Physical books purchased through our Shopify store may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in the same condition as received — unopened, undamaged, and with no signs of use. Books that have been opened, read, or show signs of wear cannot be returned.

To initiate a book return, please email us at crackerjackchronicles@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.

Kindle eBooks: Kindle purchases made through Amazon are subject to Amazon's return policy. Please contact Amazon directly for Kindle refund requests.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For merchandise, please include clear photos of the damage or defect in your email.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including books that have been opened or used, sale or discounted items, gift cards, custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and any product that shows signs of wear, damage, or misuse. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged or incorrect.
